1. 🏞️ Indus River Bend Viewpoint (7 km from Skardu)

  • First iconic stop where the Indus River curves beautifully through rugged mountains

3. 🌲 Pine Tree Curve

  • Located near Lower Kachura (Shangrila)

  • Curve in the road with pine trees framing the mountains

  • Gorgeous especially during autumn (October) when trees begin to turn golden

4. 🏕️ Chumik River Confluence Spot

  • Small river joining the Indus near Kachura — you can stop at the roadside pull-off

5. 🗻 Masherbrum Peek-Through (on clear days)

  • On extremely clear days, some parts of the road give a distant peek at Masherbrum (K1) far across the horizon

  • Best spotted near ridge turns just before Lower Kachura

6. 🏔️ Lake Entrance Ridge

  • Final stretch before reaching Upper Kachura Lake
