Road Route from Gilgit

  • Gilgit → Gupis → Khalti Lake:

    • Well-paved road alongside the Gilgit River

    • 4×4 not necessary but preferred for comfort

    • Public transport (jeeps/vans) also available from Gilgit

The lake lies just a few kilometers before reaching Gupis Bazaar. Look for a small road turn-down toward the lake.
