  • Distance from Gilgit City: Approx. 170 km (6–7 hours by road)

Road Route from Gilgit

  1. Gilgit → Gupis – 115 km (3 hours)

  2. Gupis → Phander – 55 km (2 hours)

    • The journey offers breathtaking views of the Ghizer River, alpine forests, and picturesque valleys.

Travel Tip: Best to hire a 4×4 or SUV. The road is mostly paved but bumpy in parts.

  • Gilgit Airport (domestic flights from Islamabad)
